Presented by the Merchants of Mount Pleasant Village, the 3rd Annual Kids’ Fun Day, took place on Saturday May 9, 2015 and was a huge success! Over 2000 people strolled the heart of Toronto’s Midtown between Eglinton and Davisville avenue, for a day filled with free, fun, family activities!
Kids’ Fun Day offered more activities than ever before with the Skate and Scooter park generously sponsored by Kathy McLachlan – Broker, Re/Max Hallmark Realty Ltd, the WWF Happy Face bouncy castle, the AutoShare & Mastermind Lego Build Contest and the Duca Interactive Community Art Installation lead by local artist Lauren Satok. Additional activities included the first annual Restaurant Grilled Cheese Competition and a host of other activities offered by more local businesses than had ever participated. The sidewalks were certainly bustling with entertainment, activities, games, contests, discounts, giveaways and food all day long!
The Restaurant Grilled Cheese Contest was off to a great start for its first year with the following top prizes awarded:
Smoked and Cracked: 1st Place
The Chef Upstairs: 2nd Place
The Granite Brewery: 3rd Place.
