Come out and join Wanda (from Wanda's Creative Clay) in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the ‘largest sculpting lesson’ ever conducted! The event is in memory of Eden Worth and in working with the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids); donations will be raised leading up to event online, as well as at KidsFest all weekend. Please help us give back to this great cause while enjoying a fun day at Centreville with the family! In addition to taking home their very own record-breaking clay sculpture, each participant will receive a ‘swag’ bag, official certificate, and other goodies. Pre-registration will begin online and on Friday at the Wanda’s Creative Clay tent located along the main path, just before Centreville.

BREAKING THE WORLD RECORD!
Now that you know what is motivating us, let’s get to the big idea. We have contacted Guinness World Records and proposed a challenge to break the world record for the ‘largest sculpting lesson’ ever conducted and bring the honour home to Toronto, Canada!
The current Guinness World Record in this category is held by 315 school children from Switzerland.
We plan on each of our participants sculpting a unique Wanda’s Creative Clay character by molding oven-bake Sculpey clay as found in Wanda’s classes and home kits.
WHEN and WHERE: Centreville and Far Enough Farm’s KidsFest: July 5th, 2014
We plan to break the Guinness World Record that is currently being held in Switzerland. We hope to have 500-700 people participating in the event. We will also be collecting donations for Sick Kids Hospital in memory of my late friend, Eden. All proceeds donated directly to the hospital in her name (to be donated to Brain Tumour Research).
Enjoy the day, make memories, and as Eden would say, “Take each moment one “atta time.”
Our event web address is: www.wandaontheisland.com
You’ll be able to contact us, donate directly to SickKids, help fund our event, and/or pre-register to be participate in our record breaking attempt right on the site.
HOW CAN YOU HELP US?
A) We are looking for donations to our Greedy Giver account. This account will help us run the event and is found on our webpage. Right now we have reached only half of the needed funds.
B) We are inviting everyone to register and come take part in this historic event – they can be kids, parents, adults, aunts/uncles, grandparents etc….
Please don’t think that your contribution is too small, EVERYTHING will help and is appreciated more than I can say. Thank you for everything. I hope to see you all there.
With thanks and warm regards,
