We are an association of local business owners committed to promoting and strengthening our Midtown community through public engagement. We accomplish this through various means of marketing, government lobbying, and investment into public infrastructure aimed to give life to our streets and to make our area more accessible and memorable to you, our visitor! We are governed by a Board of Management and BIA Coordinator.
A BIA is an official geographically-defined association of business owners that operate along with the City of Toronto to help strengthen our local economies by promoting local shopping and public engagement. We are partnered with the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) and the Ontario Association of Business Improvement Areas (OBIAA) and work to advocate local shopping, small business development, and public engagement for Toronto, the Province, and abroad. Currently there are 83 BIAs in Toronto and over 200 more scattered across the Province of Ontario.
